AFAAD First Ever/ 1st Annual Gathering

Come to Oakland,CA!

Announcing our first gathering of black/ mixed adoptees (transracial and same race) and foster care alums in Oakland, CA - November 2008. The purpose of this gathering will be to provide space for making connections, networking and strategic planning for the long-term goals of AFAAD. This conference is the first of its kind and we know it will make a huge contribution to the discourses surrounding adoption, race, social welfare and African diasporic identity - not to mention just bringing all of us together in one space is gonna be amazing!

We need funding and support! If you are interested in donating funding, space, in-kind services or providing volunteer assistance, please let us know!
